Why should you join RHA?

The Residence Hall Association at Christopher Newport University is a nationally affiliated organization. Members have the opportunity to serve on a committee, where they will learn and practice research methods and proposal writing, marketing and digital advertising, or event planning. Our members also have the opportunity to travel across the country to many conferences, including the NACURH National Leadership Conference. This conference will be held in May, 2019, at University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Members also have the ability to serve as a member of the Executive Board as early as the fall of their sophomore year. The personal and professional relationships that are developed span across the organization and the country as a whole.

If you are interested in joining, send us an email. You also can attend our General Board Meetings, which are held every Thursday at 7:30pm in McMurran 112. Before our meetings, there is an optional RHA dinner at 6:30pm in Regattas. If you have a conflicting schedule, you are still more than welcome to join. We will accommodate you to the best of our ability!
