General Announcements

No School October 16th-October 19th.
The September Newsletter is now live. New this year, we are bringing content from both campuses into one monthly newsletter. We are always looking for new ways to celebrate ALL our students. Click here to read the September Edition.
The Junior class is selling multi-colored pumpkins, gourds, and mini pumpkins! They will be sold during home sporting events or during regular school hours.
The GILH Class of 2027 is selling Poinsettias to raise money for their class gift. Poinsettias are in 6.5 inch pots with 5-7 blooms. They are $15 each. Contact any Senior to order or stop by the GILH office to pick up an order form. Orders must be received by November 5th to guarantee availability. You can download and print an order form here.
For the month of October we are focusing on The Salvation Army. There are two ways you can help us. These donations will go directly to benefit the unhoused and in-need in the Grand Island community. What a great way for us to be witnesses to those around us.
- Food Pantry Collection- We are collecting pantry-safe food items for the food pantry. Items can go to the office.
- Special Dinner- We are sponsoring a special dinner night. Money can be donated at chapel each week to help us sponsor a special dinner (think spaghetti/taco night) for the meal program.

Trinity PTL has discount cards available for purchase in the GILH office. Cards are $15 and offer discounts from a variety of local stores.
This year we are doing monthly offering projects which are coordinated with both the elementary and high school. Some of these months will be monetary donations, and some will be item donations. We will collect any money offerings in a basket when entering chapel on Wednesdays at the high school. During the month of September, we are collecting money for Orphan Grain Train!
Activity Passes are available for purchase in the Grand Island Lutheran High school office and will also be sold at home sporting events hosted by GILH. The cost of a Family Activity Pass is $175, and an Individual Activity Pass is $100. Passes are valid for admission to all regular-season home athletic events hosted by Grand Island Lutheran High School.Activity Passes are not valid for tournaments, conference events, post season competitions, or the school Drama Production.

Booster Club

The next Booster club meeting is October 18 at 6:30pm in the commons area at the high school. Come share ideas and help support our student activities and extracurricular programs! See the information below for details on how to become a Booster Member!
