Upcoming Events 

• The National Honor Society and Quiz Bowl Team of Grand Island Lutheran High School are hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Friday, March 6th, 2026.  The proceeds will go towards the NHS and Quiz Bowl team expenses for 2026. 

• The Red/Blue Gala is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Babel’s Barn in Wood River. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and our success depends on you coming and having fun!

• Come support the Trinity Lutheran School PTL on March 5th from 4-10pm at Texas Roadhouse! 10% will come back to Trinity PTL. You must present the flyer to qualify.

• Spring Break means no school March 9th-13th.

• The Red/Blue workday is March 20th. There will be NO SCHOOL that day.

• Senior Parents! Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 24th at 6:30 pm in the GI Lutheran Commons for the Final Post Prom meeting. We will meet to finalize information regarding Food, Activities, and assemble Post Prom prizes.

• For anyone interested in trying out for Grand Island Baseball this spring, please see the try out times listed below! 

  • Monday, March 2nd- Hitting Facility (Dinkelman’s by Roe Buick) after school for all Freshman. 10th-12th grade Community Fieldhouse 3:45-5:30pm 

  • Tuesday, March 3rd 10-12th grade Dinkelman Hitting Facility 5:30am. 9th Grade at the Community Fieldhouse after school 3:45-5:30pm

  • Wednesday, March 4th- Outside at Ashley Park and Oak Field after school. 

  • Thursday, March 5th- Outside at Ashley Park and Oak Field after school.

Academic Updates 

• Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. Please log into your Family Portal, click Apply/Enroll, then Reenrollment where you will find your current student listed. If you have an additional student who will be new to the school, please start with a new application for them. Current families are being given a two-week window to complete re-enrollment before new applications are being accepted. After we start accepting new applications your spot will not be guaranteed. • EXCITING NEWS! This spring, instead of taking the MAP Growth test as usual, the Juniors will be taking the ACT for their spring testing on April 15th. If you haven't taken the ACT yet, great, you get to take it with us! If you have taken the ACT, great, you get to retake it with us! We are going to work on implementing some ACT prep things during the school day.
