Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I'm looking forward to being your math teacher this year; I know that we can have a successful year in math no matter what gets thrown our way!
The best way to succeed in math is to keep up with the class and get help if you begin to fall behind or fail to understand a lesson. Whether you are working in a classroom or your home, help is available! All you need to do is ask.

Honors Geometry - Remote Learning Plans
Monday, 11/9: Watch video (posted on Google Classroom) and do Lesson 5.3 from the online textbook.
Tuesday, 11/10: Watch video (posted on Google Classroom) and do Lesson 5.4 from the online textbook.
Wednesday, 11/11: Come to class at 7:20 am using the Google Meet link provided in Google Classroom stream.
*Thursday, 11/12: Watch video (posted on Google Classroom) and do Lesson 5.5 from online textbook.
*Friday, 11/13: Quiz. This will be posted on Google Classroom, and your instructions will be emailed to you. After taking the quiz, take a picture and email it to me. If you have technical problems, do not panic. We will work them out next week!
* I am unavailable Thursday and Friday. I will be traveling to NC to help my parents move. I will be checking email but may not respond immediately.
Transitions to High School Math - Remote Learning Plans
Monday, 11/9: Do 1% (about 7 topics) of your ALEKS Pathway today.
Tuesday, 11/10: Log in to Khan Academy and do the tasks related to Inequalities.
Wednesday, 11/11: Come to class at 9:06 am using the Google Meet link provided in Google Classroom stream.
*Thursday, 11/12: Log in to ALEKS and do the assignment posted on inequalities.
*Friday, 11/13: Watch the video, do the worksheet, and email a photo of your completed work to Mrs. Hardy. The video and worksheet are posted in Google Classroom.

Math Lab - Remote Learning Plans
Monday, 11/9: Log in to Khan Academy (login with Google). Watch the assigned video and do the assignment there about the Distance Formula. If you need help, come to my office hours using the link in the Google Classroom Stream.
Tuesday, 11/10: Desmos activity on equations of lines. This is linked in Google Classroom.
Wednesday, 11/11: Come to class at 11:26 am using the Google Meet link provided in Google Classroom stream.
*Thursday, 11/12: Review - finding the slope between 2 points. You will watch a video, do 10 problems, then send me your work.
*Friday, 11/13: Review - finding the midpoint between 2 points. You will watch a video, do 10 problems, then send me your work.
