In Year 8 students study Art, Drama, Geography, History, IT, Music, Science, Maths, English Lit and Lang, RE, PE, PSHE,  DT, Textiles and Food. They can study one or two languages of their choice. Maths and English are set in year 8.

All subjects continue to be taught in mixed ability groups, thus offering the essential social and academic mix we want as students are still establishing themselves in the school. Students are set in Maths in Year 8.
