Bukidnon Integrated Bus Transport Network System (BITNS) introduces a unified modernization strategy centered on digital dashboards installed not only in major provincial terminals but also in designated roadside bus stops. These dashboards will provide real-time bus information including schedules, locations, and standardized fares for both intra-Bukidnon routes and outbound trips to cities such as Cagayan de Oro and Davao. This expands the system’s impact to barangays and communities that rely heavily on roadside boarding points.
Supporting this is an Integrated Transport Management System (ITMS), which will digitally connect terminals, bus operators, and LGUs to ensure consistent data capture and scheduling across the entire network. To further improve efficiency, each digital dashboard will feature a small operator-only panel positioned at the bottom-right corner, allowing authorized personnel to quickly search for specific routes, buses, or schedules without interrupting the public display. Terminal Operations Personnel will use tablets for digital logging, while passengers will have access to a web-based platform where they can view real-time bus updates using any device with an internet browser to check bus status before leaving home.
