Health Hotline for Students!

Students/families can now call with questions or concerns (my child has a cough, I'm not sure how to care for this cut, etc.) and speak to a Hawaii Keiki nurse. The nurse will advise you on how to take care of the health issue and recommend when the student should be seen.

If the student needs to be seen within the next three days (but doesn't need to go to the ED or urgent care), we can set up a telehealth visit with our HK nurse practitioners. The student/family will click on a link and connect to the nurse practitioner - so they can see each other virtually. The nurse practitioner can conduct a normal visit - recommending home treatment, calling in prescriptions as needed. We can also do daily follow up where we check in with the families - like we do in the health rooms.

The hotline is only for DOE students at this time!

The hotline is up and open - Monday through Friday from 8-4! See the flyer below for more information!
