My passions are my relationship with God and teaching His word, my family, travel, writing, teaching and training teachers.

My husband, Juan, and I have two sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, a grandson and a granddaughter; all of whom are the lights of our lives. We are a very close knit family and enjoy experiencing all of life together.

As a family, we travel every chance we get. I have visited almost half the states within the U.S. and more than a dozen countries. We travel both for enjoyment and to do volunteer mission's work around the world. I relish the opportunities to share the love of God with those who have very little knowledge of Him. In addition, I truly enjoy seeing all the distinct sights and learning about the diverse cultures. However, I most relish sharing those experiences with the ones I love and all the special people I meet along the journey who leave their marks on my life.

I have been an avid writer as far back as I can remember. I find it both refreshing and enjoyable. I write inspirational books, children's stories, poetry, articles, devotionals, blogs, and some technical writing. Some of my work has been published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul and various magazines. In addition, I have published four children's books, as well as an inspirational book. I am currently working on more books in my children's alphabet series and a Christian devotional study guide as well as others. My books can be found online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, and other book store sites.

I have always had a heart for children of all ages and knew early in life that I wanted to work with them in some capacity. Having grown up with five younger siblings, mothering and teaching just came naturally to me. I have over thirty years experience working with children and have taught every grade, Pre-K - 12, in at least one subject area. As the founder of two preschools, I served as administrator for a total of eight years.

It has long been my heart's desire to be a mom, a nonna, and a teacher; all of which have brought much joy to my life over the years. Every student I have ever had the privilege of teaching has become one of "my kids" and will always hold a special place in my heart.
