About Me

Hello, wonderful Pinon Valley & Broadmoor Elementary students and community!

This is my eighth year in Cheyenne Mountain District 12 and I am very excited about the 2022-2023 school year.

A little bit about me - I have been teaching EL (English Learners) going on 14 years. I taught overseas in Japan and Angola from 2000-2003, which ignited my passion for working with students and families from many countries and cultures. I have my Masters in Elementary Education and certification in CLDE (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education).

I believe ALL students have the potential to succeed without language being a barrier. I believe ALL communities can succeed when our differences are embraced and are used to benefit everyone.

My 2 daughters and I are proud to live in the D12 neighborhood and have loved every minute of it. I look forward to getting to know you all better and wish everyone a wonderful 2022-2023 school year!!!
