Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Hello! I am so excited to embark on this 2nd grade journey with you as I start my teaching career. I am looking forward to meeting each of my students and their support systems! Below you can find some information about me as well as ways in which you can contact me if you need anything!

About Me

This is my very first year teaching and I am extremely thankful to start my career here at Gold Camp in the best school district in Colorado! I am originally from Northern California (go Giants!) and moved to Colorado just over a year ago. I received my BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I have a special certification to work with English Language learners and have experience with students who have learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.).

In my free time I love to:

go on hikes with my long-haired, miniature dachshund Pepper
snuggle up on the couch with a good book
eat good food :)

I can be reached via email and phone before and after school. If you get into the answering system please leave me a message! I check my email and phone messages during break times, so be prepared I may not answer until the end of the day. If you have an urgent need, please contact the office.
