CME Mission Statement

To provide an excellent, engaging and empowering education in a safe learning environment everyday, in every setting, for every CME student.

At CME, students are more than just a number on an assessment or state report. At our school, we promise never to forget that every number has a name, every name has a story, and everybody's story matters.

I can be reached via phone (Ext. #15) before and after school, and sometimes at lunch. If you get into the answering system please leave me a message. You can also send me an e-mail by clicking on the link below.

I am so excited to be starting my 6th year at Cheyenne Mountain Elementary. This school year marks my 20th year in education. I received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Augsburg College, a MA degree in Education Technology from Lesley University, and most recently a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) Endorsement from CSU-Pueblo.

ELD- English Language Development

Cheyenne Mountain School District typically serves over 30 languages district-wide. English Language Learners (ELLs) in our district are students who have a home language other than English and would benefit academically from services that specifically address English language development. These students may have spoken English since birth or they may be new to the English language. They qualify as language learners due to differences in their language learning, or due to differences in their home language environment.
