Welcome to Cheyenne Mountain Junior High STUDIO ARTS!

The Studio Art courses at CMJH provides a diverse, hands-on learning experience and a safe space for students to express themselves. You will  learn fundamental art and design concepts while developing your skills in drawing, painting and more!

Studio Art offers an exploration of drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques while learning about art and artists of the past and present! An introduction to art and design will lay the foundation for a FUN and EXPRESSIVE art experience. 

Honors Art is a year long class for 8th grade students who applied and were accepted to explore the arts further in a more self-directed and independent atmosphere. The focus of the course is to introduce new media and provide structured freedom for artists to experiment with materials and find their voice.
