Welcome to my website. I have been teaching Special Education at Skyway for 21 years. I love Skyway and I love what I do. If you would like to reach me, email is the best option due to my schedule.
Skyway has three full time Special Education teachers and multiple paraprofessionals to support our students. We have a speech therapist that works at Skyway four days a week. We have a Physical therapist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker and Psychologist. Please click the Special Education Staff page to access their page. The paraprofessionals work under the direction of a licenced teacher, either the special education teacher or the general education teacher in the classroom.
We have created google classrooms for small group instruction. Under parent resources, you will find a guide to getting onto google classrooms. We will be adding assignments through this site both during in person learning and if we have to go remote. If we have to go remote for a period of time, I will meet with your child during their scheduled time through google meet. You will find the link to that group google meet on the technology page.
