-Practice sight words using say, spell, say strategy. In class I say each word, we spell the word in the air/ on a whiteboard and say the word again. Students can also practice writing their words using crayons, marker, play do, or other fun ways! Learning sight words are critical to helping your child succeed as a reader!

- In January we will begin weekly reading logs. You will read with your child and initial each day on your child' s reading log calendar.
