Women in the Workforce and Military During World War IIHistory Professor Lisa Keller, of Purchase College, part of the State University of New York system, delivered an illustrated talk on women's roles during World War II. She explained how the influx of women joining the workforce and military changed traditional roles, and provided the initial spark for the women's movement. Saint Paul's Church in Mount Vernon, New York hosted this event.
