We at Clayton Huey are so proud of our students and their accomplishments. We would like to thank our parents and community members for supporting us as we work diligently to ensure that our students get the best educational experience possible. We hope you enjoy the pictures of some of the wonderful work our kids are doing every day! Don't forget to click on each month in our time capsule for pictures of events from previous months.
Dear Clayton Huey Families,
We reach out to you on this last day of school for the 2019-2020 school year to simply say THANK YOU! Throughout the entire distance learning period, we've learned to overcome a tremendous amount of challenges, and have instilled in our students that no task is too large for us to take on, and handle with grace and a smile. Thank you to all of the students for their hard work during this time. It is difficult to motivate yourself when your teacher is not nearby to lend words of encouragement, provide direct support at a moments notice, and be an emotional support when the going gets tough. Thank you to our teachers for going above and beyond for your students during the most challenging period in your careers. You've learned and grown with your students during this time and we look forward to having you all back together with your students soon. Thank you to our parents for providing the much needed support during our distance learning period. Our goal from the onset was to be as valuable a support system as possible for you as you navigated these uncharted territories with your children. We hope we made you proud!
We've learned as a community how much we truly value personal interactions, we've learned how to appreciate the little things and be grateful for all that we have, and we've learned how important is it for us to be there for our kids when they need us most. September will bring on it's own set of challenges, but we look forward to facing them with you. Thank you for your continued support throughout the school year. Have a safe, happy, healthy, and restful summer, and we look forward to seeing you all in September.
Typically our last day of school is filled with love, hugs, and "see you later's", but this year is different. Our last send off for our students is usually all of the staff of Clayton Huey on the front lawn waving goodbye to our students one last time before summer begins. This takes place at 3:15p.m. on the last day of school. So with that being said, please let us say goodbye the only way we know how. Enjoy!
