About me

I am originally from Cleveland (Rocky River), Ohio and graduated from the University of Akron with a B.A. in Education and concentrations in Spanish and Physical Education. I taught Spanish 1 - 4 for 3 years for Conneaut City Schools, Ohio and coached Cross Country and Track and Field. After marrying my husband, we decided to relocate here (his hometown and Olympic graduate) and first taught at McClintock Middle School until Butler opened in 1997. I've been teaching Spanish 1 - 5AP at BHS since then! I also have 2 children--Ethan, who graduated from BHS in 2018 and Hailey, who will graduate from BHS in 2022. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing anything athletic outdoors, reading and watching movies.
