Hello my name is Lauren Zajac! I teach AP Psychology for the 2019 - 2020 school year.

1st block - Planning

2nd block - AP Psychology

3rd block - Psychology

4th Block - AP Psychology

If students are struggling, I am here everyday after school from 7:30 - 8 AM and 2:45 to 3:34, but students MUST check with me on Wednesdays whereas every other day is walk-in.

The nice part about Psychology is that there is a plethora of videos and aids on the internet and in print.

For AP Students: Barons AP Psychology book (try for the 7th or 8th edition) is the best for review and Crash Course on youtube is also very helpful (there are other aids on the Canvas site).

TIP: students will find it helpful to do these: vocabulary words (application and definition), nightly reading, and looking over notes on a nightly basis.

If students miss a day, all work and assignments are posted to our class Canvas site. Everything is posted on the site by the day in which we learned it. If students miss class then they 5 days to hand in the work as per CMS policy.

I follow the CMS grading policy for percentages and for formal vs informal. Any questions about grading feel free to email me (email at the bottom of this). Late-work will lose 10 points for each late day.

If a student misses a test then they need to see me to arrange a day to make it up.

If a student needs to retest then they MUST have the retest assignment completed BEFORE the retest (they will need to see me for the assignment). ALL RETESTS must be scheduled within in 10 school days of receiving the grade of the test in question.

I am free after school for any conferences. Please schedule the conference in advance with both me and guidance. The conferences must be after school to prevent scheduling conflicts.
