Welcome to third grade!!  My name is Dawn Hall Drouin, and I will be your teacher for the 2023-2024 school year!  I am so excited to have you all in my class!  I am confident, through communication and collaboration, this year will be a SUCCESS!!   

I graduated from UNCC in 1994 and landed my first teaching job at Sharon Elementary.  I am now on my 30th year of teaching at the same school!!  Must tell you how much I LOVE it here!  I have seen the school change over the years, but have never lost my love for being a teacher or being at this school.  Every year gets better and better!

I FINALLY found my soulmate at 37 years old and married on May 1st, 2010.  My husband and I  purchased our first house in March of 2011 in Weddington.  We have two, 14 and 15 year old rescue dogs, named Max and Jack-O.  They are both very dear to us and pretty much run our lives.  The students will hear A LOT about them throughout the year, so don't be surprised if they come home with some stories.
