What if I would like a higher grade on a test (Perform Category)?
1. When you get the test results back, immediately begin making corrections on the test. They are required to be complete and accurate to retake another version of the test.
2. Come in for remediation to receive help on these corrections and/or receive additional tutoring prior to retaking another version of the test.
3. Your retake grade can be as high as an 80%, according to CMS policy. Everyone is encouraged to retest if you score a C or below.

You will be given the assessment on the day you return and you can make up the classwork that you miss at home or after school.

Of course, there are lots of circumstances. Talk with me. I am very reasonable to work with and have no problem accommodating individual needs.

Some assignments cannot be made up. For example, class activities (Kahoot, exit tickets, warmups, etc...)that are graded based on effort cannot be done late. But other assignments such as worksheets (either in class or given for homework) can be made up until the test for no penalty. After the test is given, 5% is deducted each day.
