Meet Ms. Johnson

Ms. Johnson is a Charlotte native and graduate of Garinger High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University and a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Ms. Johnson is certified as a North Carolina School Library Media Coordinator, North Carolina Public Librarian, and is a National Board Certified Teacher (Renewed).  She is a mentor to new CMS Media Coordinators and a participant in the 2023-2024 NC DPI West Central School Library Media Coordinator Collaborative. Ms. Johnson is an At-Large Board Member of the Metrolina Library Association. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Charlotte Chapter of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Association of Educators, North Carolina Association of Educators, NCAE NBCT Caucus, and North Carolina School Library Media Association.
