Hello everyone! My name is Michelle White. I am originally from Chicago, IL and I currently live in Charlotte, NC. I attended Grand Valley State University (B.S. in Mathematics), Walden University (M.Ed. in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment), and Gardner-Webb University (M.Ed. in Executive Leadership). I just completed my 10th year in education, and this has been the most eventful one yet! Throughout my experience, I have served as a high school math teacher, Academic Facilitator, Instructional Coach, Multi-Classroom Leader, and Corps Member Advisor (TFA). I have been at West Charlotte for 8 years and have had the opportunity to work on the main campus, as well as with our LIFT Academy program. When I’m not busy at school, I wear the hat of wife and mother and enjoy spending time with other family and friends. I love to read, binge watch The Office over and over again, try new restaurants, and travel as much as I can. This year, I am excited to be your coach for our Beginning Teacher Support Program at West Charlotte High School.
