Parents,
I want to ensure that you know my expectations, so below you will find what I have verbally outlined with my students.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
If a student does not have the required materials (comp. book, IRB, pencil, etc.) he or she should borrow one from another student. If supplies are left in another classroom or a locker, the student will not be able to go and retrieve them. Students should not rely on the teacher for materials and supplies. If homework is left at home or elsewhere, students will receive a zero until it is turned in for a late grade.
In an effort to maintain consistency across Community House Middle School, the following procedures for handling the minor, everyday classroom infractions have been laid out as follows:
(lunch detention with teacher, work detail, before-school/after-school detention with teacher, loss of Teen Time, immediate parent phone communication with child present, parent conference, other as approved by administrator)
**Teacher will call parent; next offense will result in teacher submitting a referral to the Grade Level Administrator
**A referral will generally result in ASD with the AP, ISS, or OSS and will be recorded in student's Power School records
