Mrs. Vance's World History Website

About Me

This is my eighth year at Hough High School and my 18th year teaching. My goal is to make history fun for students so they can see the relevance history plays in their lives. I grew up in Tampa, Florida but consider North Carolina home since I have lived here longer. My undergraduate and Master's degrees are from UNCC and I received my National Board Certification in 2010 and renewal in 2019. I look forward to a successful semester.
