Mr. Thomas

Hello! My name is Carlos Thomas. This is my fourth year at Southwest Middle School. I look forward to serving you and your student to the best of my ability this year. I enjoy traveling to new places, watching/playing sports and reading. I am a fan of the NY Giants and Syracuse Orange basketball. I have a Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Secondary English. I look forward to working with you this year.

Miss Bailey

Hi! My name is Tess Bailey, and this is my second year teaching. I am very excited to start this new year as a special educator. I graduated with my bachelors degree in Special Education - General Curriculum from The University of North Carolina - Charlotte. I student taught in 2015 at Southwest Middle school, and fell in love with the environment and staff. I am blessed to start my second year at such a great school. I was born and raised in Weddington, NC. I love to travel, play sports, volunteer, and spend time with friends and family. I am a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte 49ers, and Ohio State Buckeyes.
