AP English Literature

Students in AP English Language & Composition will learn to analyze, critique, produce and revise various forms of fiction writing, including poetry, short prose, and novels.

Clicking the first image will take you to our AP English Literature Course Folder in Google Drive. The folder is where all materials for this course are housed, and where students access daily presentations and materials. Daily homework assignments can be viewed on the final slide for each daily presentation, which are always labelled with the date.

All materials are also linked through Canvas Modules. Modules are organized by week, and each assignment is labelled with the date on which it was assigned. Please notice close dates as well; read more about late work submissions in the Course Policies document found on this page.

Parents and Guardians, please feel welcome to become a Parent Observer in Canvas and/ or to request access to our Google Drive folder. I will grant all share requests ASAP; please email me if I do not grant your request in a timely manner, as they sometimes go to my "Spam" box.

The second image is a link to our Course Policies. Please review these policies to ensure you are aware of how our class operates.

Finally, you will see our current semester's Pacing Guide and AP Syllabus.

Current Focus:

  • "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"- we are annotating and analyzing this novel through the month of December.
