Welcome to Biology at with Dr. Sherman at Zebulon B. Vance High School!
I am new to Vance, Charlotte, and North Carolina. I became a teacher 5 years ago, transitioning from being an active research scientist. My Science career gave me the opportunity to travel and live in many different places studying the behavior of birds and genetics of speciation in plants. Some of the places where I have had the pleasure to work and learn are Alaska, California, Maryland, Georgia, Indiana, and several areas in Ecuador. May we have wonderful adventures studying biology together here in Charlotte, NC. I am excited to be a part of the Cougar family!
