I have loved the art of dance since an early age. I began dancing at the age of 4 at Susie's Academy of Dance & Baton in my hometown of Greenwood, SC. I graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a BA in both Dance and Communication Arts and as the Valedictorian of my 2017 graduating class. I was a competitive dancer for 12 years and have performed in many concerts and for several events such as the Charlotte Dance Festival, Charlotte Music Festival, US Army, and more. I have studied under and taken classes from many artists and choreographers. I have been teaching dance for 8 years at several studios in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop and tap. I have also served as the coach of the Olympic High School Dance Team for 4 years and the artistic director of the JCSU Community Dance Program for 3 years. Along with teaching at Ridge Road, I direct a local studio called iDance Performing Arts Company.
