I'm so glad you're here! I am forever mesmerized by stories, both those I read in books and those personal stories people share with me. Sharing our stories with each other brings us closer together. Our shared stories are the threads creating our diverse and vibrant communities. Our communities are held together by each of us sharing our stories. 

Understanding another person's story ultimately provides us with a window into their journey. What we gain from knowing someone else's story is empathy and perspective for another's experiences.  

Stories change us in immeasurable ways and consistently shape who we are.  I want to share my enthusiasm for stories with students so they, too, will encounter stories that enable them to embark on amazing personal journeys and experiences they will ultimately share with others.  Please come by the Media Center and say "hello."
