Online course selection period for all rising 12th graders. Rising 12th graders will enter their course requests in PowerSchool.
February 13
By this date all rising 12th graders will be notified through their CMS e-mail of their individual course registration appointment date and time.
February 18—March 22
Rising seniors will meet with their assigned school counselor by appointment only to discuss their post-secondary plans and review their course selections.
The 2019-2020 CMS High School Planning Guide can be used as a tool to assist you in selecting your courses for the upcoming school year. Use the CMS High School Planning Guide to access course descriptions for courses offered in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Please note that this guide has been created for the entire district and that all courses listed in the planning guide are not offered at all schools. You may use the CMS/NC Course of Study Graduation Requirements Exhibit which can be found on page 20 of the 2019-2020 CMS High School Planning Guide and the graduation requirements worksheet below to document your progress towards meeting your graduation requirements, for your planning purposes.

Locate the registration planning sheet for your next grade level below. Review the course offerings listed on your registration planning sheet. From the options listed select your core and elective courses to create a complete schedule. Then login to your PowerSchool account, enter the courses that you have selected, and click Submit.
Note: You do not have to print the registration planning sheet.
