SENIOR YARD SIGNS
The PTSA is thrilled to offer an exclusive opportunity to celebrate our Senior academic achievement with custom yard signs. Join the proud community of Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology graduates with our locally-made custom yard signs. These signs, unique to our school, add a celebration to your home and serve as a beacon of your child's achievement, letting your friends, family, and neighborhood share in your joy!
Schedules and Schedule Change Requests
The schedule change forms are now closed.
Schedules can be viewed on parent or student PowerSchool. Please realize that we are not making changes to classes that students signed up for and have since decided they no longer want the class. Our schedule was built based on the requests made last spring.
Schedule change requests will only be approved for the following reasons:
incomplete schedule (less than 8 courses)
course(s) listed that have been previously completed and passed
Course requires a prerequisite that has not been completed
Course needed for graduation or to complete endorsement or pathway requirements
Same course listed on the schedule more than once
Requesting to take an AP course
As communicated during the registration process, if you requested a specific class (including an alternate course) and received it, then you are NOT eligible for a schedule change unless your request falls under one of the categories listed above. Please be aware that a schedule change may result in adjustments to the rest of your schedule.
Schedule change requests are NOT guaranteed and are based upon graduation requirements and class space. Schedules will not be changed for teacher preference, lunch preference, or class period preference.
Please do not email school counselors regarding schedule change requests. Requests will only be reviewed through the request forms. You will be contacted once your request has been reviewed.
ATHLETICS DISCLAIMER: Ms. Paige is the school counselor for all student-athletes. If you are playing a fall, winter, or spring sport, changing your schedule may impact your athletic eligibility. Questions about the impact on athletic eligibility should be directed to the Athletic Director, Ms. Barnes-Parkins at tricia.parkins@cms.k12.nc.us.
