If I can inspire one to find their passion and pursue their dreams than what I do every day has purpose. Here you have students from class of 2020. All have gone on to graduate from college and are pursuing their dreams. I enjoy hearing about the worderful ways in which they are building their lives.
Hello, and welcome! My name is Michelle Bullock, and I am an educator, instructional leader, and technology coach committed to empowering students and teachers through innovative, equitable, and engaging learning experiences. I currently serve as the Technology Facilitator and Instructional Leader at Phillip O'Berry Technology High School in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), where I support teachers in integrating digital tools, strengthening instructional practices, and designing student-centered learning environments.
I bring a diverse professional background that includes Career & Technical Education (CTE), instructional technology, leadership development, and student support. Over the years, I have taught a range of courses such as Business & IT, Entrepreneurship, Business Law & Ethics, AP Computer Science Principles, Help Desk Technology, and more. Whether I am supporting a first-year teacher, leading a professional development session, or helping a student troubleshoot a device, my mission remains the same: create access, opportunity, and belonging for every learner.
My work is deeply grounded in educational equity. Having grown up and later served in Title-I schools, I have seen first hand how transformative education can be when students receive the individualized support they need to thrive, rather than being treated as though the same approach works for everyone. I strive to ensure that students of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities feel seen, valued, and capable of success in academic, technical, and creative pathways.
Outside of my instructional roles, I have proudly serveed as the National Honor Society (NHS) Advisor and Women’s Tennis Coach, where I mentor students in leadership, service, teamwork, and perseverance. From organizing Chromebook distribution and technology support to building Canvas courses, PD frameworks, hackathons, and leadership projects, I love bringing ideas to life that make a meaningful impact on my school community.
At my core, I am a creator, problem-solver, and storyteller who believes in the power of education, technology, and human connection. Thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to sharing my work, my journey, and my passion for empowering others through innovation and equity-driven leadership.
Who I Am
I am a Technology Facilitator and instructional leader with extensive experience in CTE Business & IT education, instructional technology coaching, and curriculum development. My professional path spans corporate financial leadership, project management, and over a decade of classroom teaching across AP, Honors, and CTE pathways. My work is grounded in equity, innovation, and meaningful technology integration.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all students deserve access to learning environments that recognize their strengths, honor their identities, and support their growth. Technology should amplify learning, remove barriers, and offer students new ways to create, collaborate, and thrive.
My Leadership Approach
As a facilitator and coach, I lead through collaboration, relationship-building, and data-informed decision-making. I empower educators to use digital tools effectively, build impactful lessons, and integrate technology in ways that enhance student achievement.
"At Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology, we empower every student to innovate boldly, lead with integrity, and shape the future through excellence in technology, career readiness, and lifelong learning."
