Welcome to 4th Grade! I am so excited to work with you to support our students this year! This is my third year at OP and I am so grateful to be at this school and a part of this community. I have been teaching for 9 years. I previously taught one year of 3rd grade and eight years of 4th grade. I am a proud graduate of Appalachian State University and a huge fan of Appalachian and Alabama Football.

My husband Stokes and I live in Matthews with our 3 year old daughter, Charlie and our 6 year old chocolate lab, Marty. Our family loves college football Saturdays, cheering for Charlotte FC, all things Disney, and spending time outside with family.

My goal this school year is to help your student grow in confidence by working with them to become collaborative and motivated learners. I am so excited to work with them (and you!) to provide them what they need to meet their goals. Fourth grade is such a great year of growth and I am looking forward to seeing what all we can accomplish together.
