Prom 2022 Dress Code

Dress to Impress!

Prom is a formal event. Elegant attire is expected and a dress code will be enforced for all students in attendance.

Please read the expectations for dress code; students who are not dressed appropriately will be denied entry until their attire meets dress code standards.

ALLOWED

Formal prom attire is classified as a dress, tuxedo, dress suit, including a tie or bow tie, a dress shirt, which may include a vest or cummerbund, and dress shoes. Dresses may be strapless (if they fit properly) or include spaghetti straps. Dresses may be backless, as long as they are not cut below the naval. Two piece dresses with appropriate tops/midriffs are also allowed.

PROHIBITED

Sheer (see-through) dresses

Two piece dresses with bralette style tops/tops that look like a brassiere. 

Dresses with slits higher than mid-thigh

Dresses shorter than fingertip length

Big chain or spikes, spikey belts, etc. (anything that could get someone injured at the event)

Headdress attire unless it is a traditional headpiece or a top hat that goes along with your appropriate attire.

T-shirts (tuxedo or otherwise), ball caps, jeans, or athletic shoes.
