Mrs. Franklin is excited to serve the students at Ridge Road Middle School during this school year!

 Mrs. Franklin graduated with a Bachelor's degree from UNC Chapel Hill, a master's in teaching from UNC Charlotte, and a master's degree in School Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill. She has been with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for over 10 years and previously was a middle school Spanish teacher and an elementary School Counselor. 

In 2024 she was honored as the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Middle School / K-8 School Counselor of the Year.

She is passionate about students exploring their interests and gaining skills to take ownership of their path to the future, especially during the very important middle school years. She wants each student to learn about themselves and feel empowered to do their best as students, friends, family members, and citizens.
