I am a passionate professional educator who believes that all students can achieve. From my undergraduate education in electrical engineering to my recent work on my MAT, I have a strong background in mathematics, business applications, and teaching middle school students. I worked for several years in the IT industry and thus have become a technology enthusiast.
My goal is to prepare each student for success in the future. Success in the future may mean:
- success in their next math class
- success in any subject other than math
- success in life in general
After my class, students should feel empowered to tackle all that life has to offer. My job description says teach them math, my passion says give them as many tools as possible to navigate the world they are currently in and the world they will find themselves in in the future.
I am excited about the possibilities each school year brings. Below, I have listed some information about myself that will give you further insight into Mr. Murray.
