COURSE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Math 3 is a high school mathematics course designed for students who have successfully acquired and mastered, basic Algebra and Geometry skills. In this course, we will discuss linear and quadratic equations and their graphs, functions, polynomials, rational expressions, and basic data analysis. We will also discuss the topics of exponential and logarithmic functions, geometry, and basic trigonometric functions. Appropriate technology will be used on a daily basis for instruction and assessment. Math 3 students will use their knowledge throughout the course to apply it to higher level thinking mathematical problems.
