Hello!
My name is Lindsey Robinson and I am a World History teacher at South Mecklenburg High School. The upcoming 2020-2021 school year will be my fourth full year here with the South Meck Sabres! I started here in the Spring semester of 2017 teaching both World History and American History II. During the 2017-2018 school year, I switched to having all World History classes (Both Standard & Honors level courses) in the new Freshman Academy. Starting in Fall 2017, I became an adviser for the National Honors Society. In the Spring of 2020, I became the new Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach here at South. GO SABRES! I am proud to say that I have developed amazing relationships with the staff and my students thus far- and I can't wait to get to know you!
A little background information about me...
I was born in Miami, FL and was raised most of my life in Matthews, NC. I grew up with the support of my mother, father and younger brother. I attended CMS Schools from Kindergarten all the way until High School graduation. I went to Matthews Elementary, Crestdale Middle School, and finished at Butler High School. Following those years of schooling, I proudly attended East Carolina University- GO PIRATES! In 2016, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in History Education.
