A little about me:

I am a "native Charlottean;" in fact, I attended Matthews Elementary as a student. I graduated from Appalachian State in 2011 and was lucky enough to obtain a teaching position at MES that fall. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 1st grade!

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. Don't ask me which book is my favorite, I can't pick!

Being from Charlotte, I love the Carolina Panthers. Keep Pounding!

Mo Willems is my favorite children's author. I love the Pigeon!

My favorite Disney movie is Aladdin.

I have a dog named Gracie and a cat named Tonks.

I love spending time with my nephew and niece, Kayson & Kenzie.
