CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

• Students are to be ready to work when the tardy bell stops ringing, and be in his/her seat. There is no standing around socializing after entering the classroom. Students should have a seat, log-in on the computer, and process warm-ups or activities directed by the teacher.

• A successful student is one who does his/her own assignments and participates in class. The expectation is that each student will be successful.

• Regular attendance is imperative. Students are encouraged to attend all classes and must submit all assignments when they are requested.

• The teacher will dismiss the class, not the bell.

CELL PHONE POLICY

Electronic devices should not be seen or heard except during approved times (Teacher’s discretion only). Once students enter a classroom, devices must be put away unless given direct permission from the teacher to use them to support instruction. Students must turn over devices if teacher collects them at the beginning of the class or if the teacher requests the device. All devices must remain in silent mode. Cell phone usage is not permitted in class.
