About me

GREETINGS! My name is Tenequa Jones! I am a high school Earth/Environmental science teacher here at West Mecklenburg High School. This is my sixth year as a teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools! I am overly enthused about educating our scholars.

I graduated from Allen University in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. I have received a Masters of Arts in Teaching from UNCC-Charlotte in 2019. Lastly, I completed an add-on for School Administration from UNCC-Charlotte in 2020 to expand my leadership capabilities.

In my free time I love to travel, shop, exercise, and EAT! I have coached Girls on the Run: Heart and Soul, and RMFY: Cheerleading; I am also a proud volunteer in my community.
