About Me!
My name is Katie Hooper and I am very excited for this upcoming school year and being your child's teacher! This is my fifth year teaching at Sharon and my fourth year in Fourth grade!
I was born and raised in Charlotte, and went to Sterling Elementary, Quail Hollow Middle, and South Mecklenburg High School. I went on to graduate from East Carolina University where I earned a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Child Studies. I am currently in grad school at East Carolina, earning a Master's in Elementary Education with an add on certificate in Teaching Teacher in Poverty.
I love baking and decorating cookies and trying my hand at different types of crafts. Some of my favorite things include my Irish Doodle Copper, Sour Patch Kids, guacamole and queso, the color purple, family and friends!
