About Me!
My name is Katie Hooper and I am very excited for this upcoming school year and being your child's teacher! This is my seventh year teaching at Sharon and my sixth year in Fourth grade!
I was born and raised in Charlotte, and went to Sterling Elementary, Quail Hollow Middle, and South Mecklenburg High School. I went on to graduate from East Carolina University where I earned a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Child Studies. In July of 2024 I completed my Masters at East Carolina University. I earned my Masters in Elementary Education with an add on certificate in Teaching Teacher in Poverty.
I love country music, football, and baseball. Some of my favorite things include my Irish Doodle Copper and my Bernedoodle Coal, Sour Patch Kids, chips and salsa, the color purple, family and friends!
