Hello! My name is Lauren Bui (pronounced boo-ee). Welcome to my page! I grew up in Huntersville, NC and attended K-12 in nearby Cabarrus County Schools. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. After, I completed my Masters of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in elementary education and special education at UNC. Go Heels!!!

Our teaching assistant, Mrs. Noonan, and I are so excited to begin building our classroom community with our students and their families. I believe in open communication and collaboration to ensure all students have the best possible learning experience. Fun Facts about Ms. Bui

I am a HUGE Tar Heels fan. As a UNC graduate, I believe that Carolina blue is the better blue, 23 means Michael Jordan, and it's a Good Day To Be A Tar Heel!
I have one puppy named Franklin (after the famous Franklin St. in Chapel Hill). He is a black lab mix, a ball of energy, and self-appointed classroom dog. He often makes his way onto our class slides.
I love to bake and cook! My favorite foods are sushi, Mexican food, lemon bars, and snickerdoodles!
In my free time, I love to read, paint, and stay active. My most recent hobby is playing tennis.
I do not drink coffee- shocking I know! My preferred hot drink are chai lattes and hot chocolate.
My favorite subject has always been ELA. I loved reading in school and even minored in English during college!
I am getting married this Spring 2026! Wedding planning has been a blast!
