Welcome, Families!
My name is Kelly Baker, and I serve as an Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher here at Sharon. I work with students who receive support through the Exceptional Children’s program, which provides individualized instruction tailored to meet the unique learning needs of those who qualify for the services. This year marks my 14th year as an EC teacher. Watching students grow, learn, and thrive is the best part of my job and I feel honored to play a part in their journey. Every child has strengths to build on and I enjoy helping them reach their full potential.

A little more about me.. I graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and double majored in Special Education K-12 and Elementary Education K-6. Outside of school I enjoy working out, cooking new recipes, adventuring up in the mountains, and spending time with my family and friends.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or information that needs to be addressed. If you have any questions about the IEP process or next steps for your child, please reach out to me for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and to my colleague, Bonita Ritter, for students in 3rd through 5th grade.
