ABOUT ME.....

I teach from a historical perspective, relaying that all things are relative.  Often sharing with students that being well rounded and skilled increases their success.  Diversity is paramount within my classroom and greatly appreciated.  We learn from anything  that makes people different from each other, such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ability or religious belief. .

Athletics are important in my life.  A team environment allows individuals to bring their diverse perspectives to problem solving, which in turn increases their success at arriving at solutions more efficiently and effectively.  And football is my favorite sport.

Having 28 years of experience, I am often filled with pride  and celebrate their achievements, but even more proud of the person they've become.  I have taught students that have become doctors, lawyers, pilots, pharmacist, coaches, police offers, counselors, parents and an on going list of careers and professions.  I am so proud.
