About Me

I have been working with scholars as an Exceptional Children teacher for 16 years. This year I am working with scholars in the general education Math 2 and Math 3 classes. I have a Master's in Secondary Education with a focus on Special Education, and I am also licensed in general education English/Language Arts for grades 7-12. 

I first realized that I wanted to work in education when I was in 10th grade and had the most amazing teacher. She showed me that I could share my love of learning with others and help them find that same love. She also taught me that learning can create and sustain joy and that the love of learning can bless our lives no matter our age. 

As an educator, mother, and grandparent, I strongly believe that education is one of the most equitable and inspiring ways to improve ourselves and our entire society and culture.
