About Me

I have been working with scholars as an Exceptional Children teacher for 15 years. I work with scholars in my Learning Lab during which we concentrate on math and ELA skills, and in inclusion in Mathematics classes. I have my Master's in Secondary Education with a focus on Special Education, and I am also licensured in general education English/Language Arts for grades 7-12. 

I first realized that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in 10th grade and had the most amazing teacher. She showed me that I could share my love of learning with others for the benefit for us all. She also taught me that learning can create joy. I truly believe that education is the key to improving ourselves and our entire world.
