About Me

Hi, I am Mr. Wernecke and was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Since graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH in 2003, I have taught elementary, middle, and high school. This is my 23rd year of teaching, 17th year in CMS (10 years at Ridge Road) and my 6th year at Mallard Creek. 

In October of 2016, I married my wife, Christine. She grew up in Charlotte, graduated from UNC Greensboro, and is a Registered Nurse.  July of 2020, our daughter Charley Grace was born 💜.

In my free time, I enjoy running and staying updated on my hometown Wisconsin teams - the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and Bucks.
