Mrs. Sanford

Hello Students and Parents!  My name is Mrs. La Tanya Sanford and I will be teaching your Earth Science/Biology class this semester.  A little about me…..I have been married for over 30 years.  I have 3 adult children and 2 grands.  I attended North Carolina Central University where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology.  After graduating, I became a Medical Technologist and worked in that capacity for 15 years.  My career in teaching began after that career where I have served for the past 21 years!  I know, right?  I know you guys are saying…...Dang she's old!!! Lol!  Age wise yes, but young at heart!  I have been at West Charlotte for the past 10 years and I love the students here.  I look forward to meeting each of you on August 25th.
