Course Description
Course Description
This year, your child will learn a variety of new topics while continuing to apply their knowledge from topics that they learned in elementary school. My goal this year is to provide my students with skills and strategies that will help them be college and career ready in the future. I will help my students achieve this by helping them to gain a better understanding of basic scientific skills and helping them to sharpen their reading , writing, and speaking skills. We will investigate and learn more about the following topics this year.
- Scientific Inquiry skills ( all year)
- Matter: Property Changes
- Energy: Conservation and Transfer
- Force and Motion
- Earth and the Universe
- Earth Systems and Structures
- Structures and Functions of Living Organism
