About Mrs. Byrne

Hi! I'm Kathleen Byrne. This is my ninth year teaching second grade at Dilworth! I have also taught 5th, 2nd, 1st and TD classes in New York City and Greenwich, CT.  I am a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University where I earned a Masters of Teaching in Elementary Education and the College of the Holy Cross where I majored in English. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.

My husband, Tony, and I are the lucky parents of five young adult children who are busy in college and starting new careers.

When I am not teaching I like to read, travel, cook and play mahjong.

 I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
